Canon make 2 versions of cartridges for your printer: the standard ones which are around £40 a set or XL versions which are around £60 a set.
The standard cartridges are the same size as the ones supplied with your printer - also known as setup cartridges - please don't be fooled by the word setup a standard 551 cartridge contains 7ml of ink and the setup cartridges, which are also branded 551 (see picture), also contain 7ml of ink - where is the difference? Well there isn't one! Even the large black cartridge is 15ml, exactly the same as a regular cartridge.
